Facebook appoints Avinash Pant as India Marketing Head

Social network giant Facebook Inc has announced the appointment of Avinash Pant as Marketing Director for its India operations.

Pant who has 22 years of experience and worked with consumer brands like Nike, Coca-Cola, The Walth Disney Company, and recently with Red Bull. “Will drive Facebook’s consumer markets across the family of apps including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp,” the company said.

The announcement has come a year after Facebook announced a new leadership structure for its India business.
