Mumbai-based automotive OEM components maker Remsons Industries Ltd has named Rahul Prabhakar Desai as its Chief Executive Officer, effective August 3, 2026.
The appointment was approved by the company’s Board of Directors at its meeting held on July 27, 2026, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
He will succeed Amit Srivastava, whose resignation has been accepted by the Board. Srivastava will continue in his role until the close of business on September 4, 2026, ensuring a planned leadership transition.
Desai brings more than three decades of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry, including over 17 years in chief executive and senior leadership positions. Throughout his career, he has led business transformation initiatives, manufacturing operations, operational efficiency programmes, and growth strategies across automotive organisations.
Before joining Remsons Industries, Desai served as Executive Director and CEO at Pinnacle Industries Limited, where he oversaw operations across five manufacturing facilities with full profit and loss responsibility. Earlier, he spent nearly ten years as Chief Executive Officer of CIE India, leading multiple business divisions and managing ten manufacturing plants.
He has also held senior leadership roles at GKN Sinter Metals Limited and Inteva Products India, where he was involved in manufacturing operations, business expansion, and operational management across the automotive sector.
