Florida governor Ron DeSantis has said that Idalia could make landfall as a category two hurricane in the state by late Tuesday afternoon.
Hurricane Idalia is forecast to sustain winds of 96 to 110 mph when it makes landfall in northern Florida‘s Big Bend area on Wednesday.
