Foxconn’s former chairman and Taiwanese billionaire Terry Gou on Monday announced his intention to run in the upcoming presidential election as an independent candidate.
Addressing the public gathering at TAIPEI, Terry Gou said, “I, Terry Gou, would like to update everyone that I have decided to enter the race for the 2024 presidential election.”

Gou will need to collect 29,000 signatures to register as a candidate.
