Scalefusion has launched Veltar Vulnerability Management, a new capability that brings vulnerability detection and remediation into its endpoint management platform for Windows and macOS devices.
The launch connects vulnerability intelligence with Scalefusion UEM’s patch management capabilities, allowing IT and security teams to assess risks and move towards remediation without switching between separate security tools and workflows.
Commenting on the launch, Sriram Kakarala, Chief Product Officer at Scalefusion, said, “Vulnerability detection is only useful when teams can act on what they find. With Veltar Vulnerability Management, we are connecting vulnerability detection with endpoint management so security and IT teams can move from identifying exposure to remediation within a single workflow. This gives teams greater context around risk while reducing the operational effort involved in moving between security and endpoint management tools.”
Veltar combines vulnerability, threat and endpoint data to help teams identify which risks require attention first, using industry signals such as CVSS, EPSS and CISA’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities data alongside Scalefusion’s Device Risk Score.
The launch further expands Veltar’s security capabilities around managed endpoints, building on its existing tools for web security, device trust, compliance and secure access.
“Over the past three years, we have continued to expand Veltar around the endpoint, from web security and device trust to compliance and secure access. Vulnerability management extends that approach by connecting the identification of vulnerabilities with the systems and workflows used to resolve them,” added Kakarala.
