India’s sixth largest automaker company, Ford India, on Saturday reported a downfall by 26.32 percent in its sales of 19,905 units for November as compared to the same month of last year were the company sold 27,019 units.
The company in its statement said, “The domestic sales have also declined by 18 percent, where the company sold 6,375 units in November, against 7,777 units in the same month last year.”
Ford also reported that “The company have also seen a downfall by 29.86 percent in export, were the company exported 13,530 units in November against 19,242 units in the same month last year.”
Anurag Mehrotra, President, and MD of Ford India said: “As the consumer sentiments are going to be low due to the general economic situation, we expect continued volatility in fuel and inflations to cause headwinds for the passenger vehicle industry.”
