Budget 2021: Wishlist of Indian Infrastructure sector

Before the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman introduce the country’s first paperless Union Budget on February 1, 2021.

Here are the wishlist of infrastructure sector for the forthcoming Union Budget 2021:

India is committed to spending US $ 1.4 trillion on infrastructure from 2019-23 to have sustainable development of the country. In line with this vision and poor economic growth, it is extremely important that the government should enhance its spending on various infrastructure projects in transport, freight, railways, energy, etc. Also, PE funds should be encouraged to invest in infrastructure projects with better investor-friendly policies by the government.
