Health Minister K Sudhakar says, “Karnataka to receive 13.9 lakh vials of COVID-19”

Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar has said, “It is expected to receive 13,90,000 vials of a vaccine against COVID-19 in a day or two.”

Speaking to the press on Friday, Health Minister K Sudhakar said, “I have received information from the Union Health Minister that tomorrow or the day after probably. We will be receiving 13,90,000 vials of vaccine for the state.”

“We have registered 6.30 lakh healthcare professionals in Karnataka till date and those who have left out maybe in some medical or dental colleges who have requested to them to registered,” He said.

The vaccination will be first administered to health care workers, followed by those in other departments like Police and Revenue workers who are working against the pandemic.
