Coronavirus: Pakistan records 251,625 COVID-19 cases

Pakistan Health Ministry on Monday said, “In the last 24 hours, the country has recorded 2,769 new COVID-19 cases.”

Briefing the media on Coronavirus update, Ministry of National Health Services said, “Pakistan on 13 July, reported a 2,769 new infections were detected in the last 24 hours, bringing total cases in the country to 251,625.”

“Out of total 251,625 COVID-19 cases 161,917 patients have recovered,” Ministry said.

Adding to the statement, Ministry said, “Sindh has reported 105,533 cases, Punjab 87,043, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa 30,486, Islamabad 14,108, Balochistan 11,185, Gilgit-Baltistan 1,671 and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir 1,599.”

“60 patients have died in the last 24 hours, totaling death in the country to 5,226,” it added.
