Tata Group has signed a deal to acquire BigBasket in a transaction valued at Rs 9,500 crore.
According to the ET report, “The Tata Group will nearly pay Rs 9,500 crore to acquire 68% stake in BigBasket at the enterprise value of Rs 13,500 crore.”

Bangalore-based BigBasket is an online grocery startup with pan India, and it is one of the top rivals of Flipkart and Amazon Fresh.
