Salesforce partners with Alibaba, plans to provide cloud sales solutions in China

A U.S. based cloud-based CRM company Salesforce Inc has announced its strategic partnership with Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba Group Holding.

In a statement issued by the company, the Salesforce said that “Customer success is everything we do. And as our international customers were asking us to support them in doing the business around the world. We have today partnered with the Alibaba Group.”

“The new strategic partnership with Alibaba will allow the customers to transform the way they market, sell and operate their business in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan through Alibaba Cloud and Tmall,” the statement said.

“As Alibaba will be the official partner, the company will allow the Salesforce solutions like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Salesforce Platform to the customers on its platform,” the company added.
