Private sector lender, Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC Ltd) on Monday said, “It is planning to raise up to Rs 45,000 crore through issuance of debt securities.”
In a filing with the exchange, HDFC Ltd said, “In a meeting scheduled for 30 July 2020, the board of directors of the Corporation shall consider issuance of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures in various tranches, aggregating Rs 45,000 crore on a private placement basis.”

“The 43rd annual general meeting (AGM) of the corporation is scheduled to be held later on the same day (July 30, 2020),” the filing added.
