Report: Disney Star Secures Rs 200 Cr AD Deal From HUL For Asia Cup & World Cup

Disney Start, the parent company of Stars Sports and Disney+ HotStar and official broadcaster for Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2024 has secured Rs 200 crore sponsorship from Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) for its TV and digital platform.

According to the Economics Times report, “Hindustan Unilever has come on board as a sponsor for both TV and digital coverage of the Asia Cup and World Cup for close to Rs 200 crore.”

Asia Cup 2023 is scheduled to start today with a few matches in Pakistan and the rest matches in Sri Lanka with a total of 13 scheduled matches. The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Mega Tournament will be hosted by India from October 5 to November 19 with a total of 48 scheduled matches.
