U.K chancellor Rishi Sunak has announced £4.6 billion ($5.4 billion) in a new grant to support retail, hospitality, and leisure business.

Addressing the nation, Rishi Sunak said, “The treasury would provide £4 billion of one-off ‘top-up grant’ for an estimated 600,000 retail, hospitality, and leisure companies.”
“The another £594 million discretionary funds made available for councils to support other businesses that are not eligible for those grants but are affected by the restrictions,” he said.
