If you look at the statistics for recent years, you can see that the fastest-growing and most promising industry is construction. There are many industrial, public, residential, and municipal facilities all over the world. By the way, you can order building materials on the globy.com B2B platform. The construction of buildings is a complex and lengthy process that requires the involvement of a large number of personnel. The search for labor can be carried out in different places, but one of the best sites for this is the Construction Jobs Expo (CJE).

This year’s event took place on June 7th at Hall 1, RDS Arena (Dublin, Ireland). Admittedly, CJE is a highly specialized event. The main goal of the CJE is to find a workforce and employers. In this regard, the exhibition was attended by:

  • professional builders;
  • handymen;
  • recruiters;
  • contractors;
  • hiring managers;
  • representatives of developers, etc.

It should be noted that at this job fair, you can find staff to work in Ireland and other European countries. This is the reason why this exhibition is considered international. Companies are looking for talent at CJE, people who have succeeded in their profession and have achieved certain skills. At the exhibition, you could see a lot of people looking for work; they showed their portfolios to recruiters and discussed the terms of the contract.

Features of CJE

CJE differs from other job fairs in that it has an industry focus. Interestingly, at the exhibition, it was possible to get a job in African countries: South Africa, Kenya, Botswana, and others. The event is held annually in Dublin, and the CJE attracts many guests from different countries. The CJE is attended not only by professionals but also by students of construction universities, novice builders, as well as architects, designers, and so on. Interestingly, CJE is recruiting for large-scale projects, and everyone can participate if they have the required skills. High-class builders are looking for a decent job by considering offers from leading construction corporations. Those who do not have sufficient skills and experience can enroll in training courses and receive the necessary certificates within the framework of the exhibition.

Events of Construction Jobs Expo 2025

In 2025, many stands were put up at CJE. Construction companies, recruitment agencies, and educational institutions provided information for visitors. Seminars and discussions were held on the development of construction, the latest technologies and trends, new methods of working with staff, and so on.

Recruitment seminars were held within the framework of the fair. The following important sections were considered: resume review, selection of the best employees, interview coaching, master classes, career counseling, and so on.

Network sessions were held for specialized sectors: the construction of civil infrastructure facilities, the management of large construction projects, green building, the implementation of complex architectural projects, and more.

People with the following specialties could get a job at CJE: plumber, welder, painter, bricklayer, carpenter, electrician, and many others. The workers could find out what documents were needed in order to start working in one of the specialties. At the fair, it was possible to enroll in courses, such as high-altitude work, first aid, protective equipment, and so on.

Outcome of CJE 2025

The exhibition is an important European event and attracts many individuals and companies involved in construction. Visitors could not only get acquainted with new technologies, but also find employers, partners, and staff. Well-known companies have increased the visibility of their brands. Engineers, handymen, and specialists could get new positions. The CJE will continue to be conducted in the future. You can read more about the exhibition in the “Building & Construction Events” section on Globy. Everyone can join the event by pre-registering.
