The government of India has released an additional Rs 3,000 crore from the National Health Mission for the state governments for preparations of coronavirus.
Briefing the media on Monday, Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary at Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said, “The Center has already released Rs 1100 crores from the National Health Mission Funds for the states, and also an additional amount of Rs 3,000 crores has been released today.”
In meanwhile the total cases of COVID-19 in India toll to 4067.
