India-based online pre-owned car seller CARS24 has announced the launch of pre-owned two-wheeler sales service on its platform.
In a statement issued, the CARS24 said, “The users can sell their two-wheelers, including scooters, mopeds, and bikes on its platform.”
Speaking on the statement, Gajendra Jangid, co-founder of CARS24 said, “Extending our services to two-wheeler owners is natural as India is the largest two-wheeler market in the world and we see a huge potential since the pre-owned two-wheeler market is around 50 percent more than the new two-wheeler market.”
“With the company’s current infrastructure of over 210 branches across the country, it has the power to change and organize the used two-wheeler industry by offering trust and transparency to customers through technology,” Gajendra added.
Adding to the statement, Gajendra said, “With this service, we expect to establish our presence in the top 15 cities with the aim of more than 50 branches within the next 6 months to help customers sell two-wheelers in an efficient and organized manner.”
“We have 5,000 plus channel partners who have shown interest in our new business model and we expect this count to increase to 15,000 or more in the coming months,” he added.
Further adding to the statement, the company said, “We are also pro-actively setting up its platform to enable purchase and sale of electrical vehicles (EVs).”
