Snapdeal launches “Sanjeevani” to connect patients with plasma donor

Leading e-commerce company Snapdeal has today announced the launch of “Sanjeevani” to help patients to connect with potential plasma donors.

“Sanjeevani will be accessible to patients and plasma donors on website and mobile app,” Snapdeal said.

“Patients and donors can register themselves with their mobile numbers/email ids and provide relevant information like blood group, location, age, and donor recovery date. After registering, Snapdeal’s algorithm will look for relevant matches and connect patients with potential donors,” the statement said.

“Sanjeevani will also help raise awareness on the importance of plasma donation and encourage recovered COVID-19 patients to donate,” Snapdeal added.

Earlier, Snapdeal’s Sanjeevani was launched to help only its employees to find possible donors.
