Siddhartha Mohanty appointed as LIC’s MD

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Siddhartha Mohanty as Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).

The ACC in its issued notification said, “It has approved the Department of Financial Services proposal to appoint Siddhartha Mohanty as Managing Director of LIC.”

“The decision will be effective from the date of assumption of the charge of a post by or after 1, 2021 for the tenure of two years,” the notification said.
