Paytm: All data of customers are secured

India’s largest digital wallet company Paytm on Tuesday announced that “The data of all its customers are secured and safe after the police arrested three people including the company’s boss secretary and two others who tried to blackmail its founder for $3 million by threatening to leak personal data.”

“This is a case of personal data theft of Vijay Shekhar Sharma, where three were made yesterday,” The company said in a statement.

The company said it would not comment on this until the police complete its investigation.
