Oculus co-founder Brendan Iribe resigns

Oculus co-founder and Former CEO, Brendan Iribe on Monday, has announced his departure from Facebook, which has heated a new debate inside the media on “Why the top executives of the Facebook acquired company are leaving the company?”.

Last month, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger the co-founders of Instagram had resigned from the company, adding to the WhatApp’s Brian Acton and Jan Koum and Oculus co-founder Palmer Luckey in the list of recent departures.

As per the media reports, “The departure of Iribe from the company, has come after the internal shake-up inside the company and the recent cancellation of the Oculus Rift 2, the second generation of PC VR flagship devices, to whom he was leading.
