Disney to launch Disney+ service in Western Europe, and India

After hitting the massive success after the launch of its video streaming Platform, American multimedia company Disney has announced the launch of platform Disney+ in India and Western Europe by March-end of this year.

In an earnings call with the analysts, Bob Iger CEO of Disney said, “The company has registered over 28.6 million registered users for Disney+ service, since the launch in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands and in Puerto Rico.”

“The service will launch on March 24, in the Western European Market —including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland, and in India by 29th March through Hotstar,” Iger said.

Further adding to the statement Iger, said, “The new original Marvel Studios series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and WandaVision will be premiere on Disney+ in August this year, and The Mandalorian from Lucasfilm will return to the service in October.”
