Debjit Roy and Girish Lakshman join the ARAPL RaaS Advisory board

ARAPL RaaS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Affordable Robotic & Automation Ltd. (ARAPL), a turnkey Robotic automation solution provider has announced the appointment of Debjit Roy and Girish Lakshman as the new members of the ARAPL RaaS advisory board.

Debjit Roy is a professor at IIM and an expert in warehouse automation and design, he coordinates the executive education programs in warehouse design and management. At ARAPL RaaS, he will advise on the warehouse designing part of ARAPL RaaS which will result in reducing bottleneck in warehousing design making it more efficient, he will be revalidating designs in the automation system.

Girish Lakshman, Former VP, Amazon Global Logistics, advises ARAPL RaaS’s Global Operations, Logistics & Fulfilment. He has over 30 years of strategic and operational experience, with deep expertise in building and scaling global operations, as part of management teams and boards at Grubhub, Sears, and E-comm express.

He currently advises various companies including Shobitam.com, Delverr.com, Gozo cabs, American Eagle Outfitters, and Avalara in various capacities. He also serves on the board of Amrita, a Seattle-based non-profit organization. Girish with his experience will be the Primary Driver for gate opening into the US Market for ARAPL RaaS.

Founded in 2021, ARAPL RaaS the brand brings its unique offering RaaS- Robotics as a Service that is pay per a use basis. It uses AI and machine learning to automate every aspect of the service they provide.

Commenting on the appointment, Milind Padole Founder and MD of ARAPL RaaS said, “ARAPL Raas is working on end-to-end automation solution for Warehouse using an array of Intelligent Hardware powered by Ai enabled software like WMS.ai, Swarm robotics; QR code and Natural navigation. All of these techs are developed in House and will provide an edge over the competition.”

It will depict live use case scenarios in a miniature format and will also help confidence building among its Prospective Clients.”
