Edtech platform Creative Galileo enters into partnership with Amar Chitra Katha

India based edtech platform, Creative Galileo has entered into a partnership with the Indian history and mythological comic book giant Amar Chitra Katha. 

“Through this partnership, Creative Galileo will have the license to use a wide selected range of Amar Chitra Katha and Tinkle’s iconic stories and characters to create highly engaging content for games and videos for children between the ages of 3 to 10,” the statement said.

Commenting on the announcement, Preeti Vyas, President & CEO, Amar Chitra Katha said, ” At Amar Chitra Katha, we have been custodians of India’s stories for over 54 years, and we are excited to partner with Creative Galileo to take our rich storytelling heritage to Indian and global audiences through their edutainment platforms.”

“We have seen a shift in student learning and associated platforms and are impressed with the reach and the edutainment platform offered by Creative Galileo. This partnership is another powerful step to enable kids to experience and engage the rich storytelling heritage of India via an engaging and a customized learning format,” She added.

Speaking on this partnership, Prerna A Jhunjhunwala, Founder, Creative Galileo, said, “We are delighted and honored to partner with Amar Chitra Katha. These comics were our favorite storytellers in childhood and were also a route for many of us to discover more about India’s rich storytelling heritage.” 

Adding to the statement, Prerna further said, “We believe storytelling is an easy and effective way to engage kids. This partnership will help us build an interesting adaption of these stories and will eventually help in building understanding in domains of language, numeracy, arts, the discovery of the world, gross motor skills, and social and emotional learning to list a few.”
