In a bid to enhance safety and security across court premises for judges, lawyers, and visitors, Vehant Technologies, an India-based security and surveillance solutions provider, announced that it is working with the Bihar Police to deploy advanced screening systems across courts in the state.
The initiative includes the supply and installation of more than 70 isometric view X-ray baggage screening systems across approximately 40 courts, including the Patna High Court, Patna Sadar Court, and courts in Nalanda, Gaya, Bhojpur, and Buxar.
The company said the machines are manufactured under the Make in India initiative and will be operated by trained personnel provided by the technology integrators. The systems will be installed at entry points to scan items carried by visitors and staff, aimed at enabling faster and smoother security checks while maintaining routine court operations.
Commenting on the initiative, Kapil Bardeja, Co-founder and CEO of Vehant Technologies, said, “Through this project with the Bihar government, we are deploying advanced systems to enable a more secure and efficient courtroom environment without disrupting daily judicial operations. The system is designed to ensure that daily court proceedings continue without any interruptions and address potential security challenges.”
Vehant Technologies has previously executed large-scale security projects across government and public infrastructure, with deployments at Indian airports, metro rail networks, smart cities, military bases, and other high-density locations.
