CG Power and Industrial Solutions loss doubles to Rs 210.7 in December quarter

India’s leading electrical products provider, CG Power and Industrial Solutions Limited, has recorded a consolidated loss of Rs 210.07 crore in the December quarter of 2019, almost double of Rs 105.78 crore loss the company made in the same quarter a year ago.

In a filing with BSE, the company said, “Company’s consolidated net loss was doubled to Rs 210.07 crore in the December quarter 2019, against the Rs 105.78 crore loss for the same quarter a year ago.”

“The company’s total income also came down to Rs 1,190.47 crore in the three quarters of 2019, as compared to Rs 2,084.12 crore in the same quarter a year ago,” the filing added.

Adding to the filing, the company said, “The consolidated loss in the nine-month period of 2019 from April to December widened to Rs 1,878.88 crore as against Rs 317.90 crore a year ago.”

“The loss in 2018-19 was at Rs 507.13,” it added.
