The Indian Health Ministry on Wednesday said, “We’ve seen an increase of 5.03 percent in COVID-19 positivity rate on January 05,2022.”

Briefing the press on COVID-19 development, Joint Secretary of Health Ministry, Lav Agarwal has said, “India has reported a more than 6.3 times increase in cases in the last 8 days.”
“India has reported a more than 6.3 times increase in cases in the last 8 days. A sharp increase seen in case positivity from 0.79 percent on December 29 2021 to 5.03 percent on January 5, 2022,” he added.
