The American aerospace giant Boeing has bagged a contract worth $9.2 billion to manufacture advanced aircraft for the U.S Airforce.
By partnering with the Sweedish aerospace company Saab, Boeing is all set to manufacture the advanced aircraft named T-X. This is going to replace the aging T-38s that has been in use since the 1960s.
The contract has come at a time when the U.S Airforce is seeking to modernize its fleet. And Boeing has claimed one of most lucrative as well as challenging contracts of all time.
