India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC), India’s first and only Mortgage Guarantee Company announces the appointment of Anubhav Verma as Chief Alliances Officer.
In his new role at IMGC, Verma will be responsible for delivering IMGC’s revenue ambitions by on-boarding Banks, NBFCs, and Housing Finance Companies. He will also be responsible for product development and marketing strategy.
Speaking on the development, Mahesh Misra, CEO of, IMGC said, “We are delighted to welcome Anubhav to the IMGC fold. He joins us with a proven track record across organizations. There is considerable lender interest in using mortgage guarantees as an effective credit enhancement tool, especially for untapped segments. We expect a near 2-fold jump in originations largely driven by affordable housing. We look forward to Anubhav leading IMGC’s client acquisition journey as we embark on another phase of strong growth.
Verma comes with over 19 years of experience in Business development, client servicing, and product management across the BFSI and Insurance sector. Before joining IMGC, he has worked with Clix Capital as Head Insurance & Customer Service. In addition to this, he has previously worked in several leadership roles with HDFC Life, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Centurion Bank of Punjab.
