Abu Dhabi announces $200 million as financial aid to support SMEs in Pakistan

In an attempt to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the Crown prince of Abu Dhabi ‘Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed’ has announced the financial aid of $200 million to Pakistan.

In a tweet by Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, the finance adviser to PM said that “After meeting with the Prime Minister Imran Khan, The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi has announced the $200 million financial aid to Pakistan.”

“The money will be spent on small business promotion and jobs. This support is testimony to expanding the economic relations and friendship between two countries,” the thread added.

The statement added, “The Crown Prince has also directed the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, Khalifa Fund to allocate the amount to support the government of Pakistan’s efforts to create a stable and balanced national economy that will help to achieve the country’s sustainable development.”

“The initiative was launched on the sidelines of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s visit to Pakistan. which aimed at supporting the economic projects in the country.”
