We Founder Circle joins Concepto as investing partner

Mumbai based founders led startup investment platform, We Founder Circle on Monday said, “It will be backing an annual virtual pitching event ‘Concepto’ organized by IMT Ghaziabad, as an investing partner and facilitator.”

Concepto is a yearly initiative by IMT Ghaziabad, that aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders in the initial stages of their business ventures. 

“These startups will get direct access to the WFC’s accelerator program EvolveX where WFC is offering $20K seed funding,” the statement said.

The event will be conducted virtually and shall have three rounds including introductory presentation, pitch deck presentation, and final pitch to the investors. 

“The shortlisted startups will get access to funding worth up to $1 Million, along with a chance to get incubated by quality mentors,” the statement added.

Speaking on the partnership Bhawna Bhatnagar, Co-Founder of We Founder Circle said, “WFC is partnering with universities, B-schools, and institutional entrepreneurship cells to support students with the knowledge, mentors, and investors from our community. We want to give them direct access to our accelerator programs, and an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams.”

“At WFC, we want to build and empower the startup ecosystem at every level, and the educational institutes play a crucial role there. Our vision is to work closely with premier institutions and give opportunities to students to build on their ideas. For this we are setting up a Campus Fund to accelerate campus innovation & entrepreneurship which will help us to reach the student entrepreneurs of this county,” Gaurav Singhvi, Co-Founder, We Founder Circle added.

Commenting on the joining of WFC as Investment partner, Shalini Rahul Tiwari/Concepto organizing team said, “We Founder Circle has been providing unique mentorship and funding opportunities to budding entrepreneurs. We are glad to have them aboard this year. IMT has served as the launchpad of some great start-ups in India including SolarGridX, Daalchini, and Develop Train Maintain LLP. With the guidance and support from WFC, we will be able to bring disruption to more sectors and make a mark.”
