Walmart Inc’s Flipkart unit is considering naming a new Group CEO in place of Binny Bansal, the co-founder of the e-commerce firm. As per a report by Mint Daily. Flipkart CEO Kalyan Krishnamurthy is one of probable names for the position. However, Walmart is considering both internal and external candidates for the aforementioned position.
This action is a direct outcome of Binny Bansal’s recent non-involvement with the daily operations of the e-commerce firm. Bansal, however, will still remain the chairman of the company, the Mint Daily report added further.
Although this news is creating a lot buzz in the Indian tech market, an official statement from Flipkart still awaits.
