Jen Psaki: 41Mn borrowers benefited from the extended student loan payment pause

The White House (U.S) Spokesperson, Jen Psaki on Friday said, “41 million borrowers have benefited from the extended student loan payment pause.”

Replying to the question asked on whether the Biden administration is considering extending that student loan payment pause? Psaki said, “I would just note, more than $12.5 billion in discharges to nearly 640,000 borrowers, plus tens of billions more saved by the 41 million borrowers who have benefited from the extended student loan payment pause.”
