Former CM of Maharashtra and Leader of opposition Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said, “The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) Govt is misleading people of the state on the fuel price hike.”
Briefing the press here in Mumbai, Devendra Fadnavis said, “The taxes imposed by the center on per liter of petrol come up to Rs 70, which are paid to states in various ways, while the amount charged by the state is Rs 27.”
“The state government can reduce the amount it charges and provide relief to the common man,” Fadnavis further said.
