To increase the presence in the grocery business, Amazon India a subsidiary of U.S. e-commerce giant Amazon.com has announced that “It has expanded its Pantry business from 40 cities to more than 110 cities in the country in a year.”
Saurabh Srivastava, Director of Category Management of Amazon India in its statement, said: “As the consumables are the fast-growing category on Amazon.in, and the Pantry has become popular within the customers.”
“In last six-seven months we have added more than 70 cities, and towns thats now brings the total of 110 cities and towns which Amazon Pantry covers,” Saurabh said.
Adding more on this, Saurabh said: “Even the customers from the smaller cities like Ichalkaranji in Maharashtra, Kaithal in Haryana and Belgaum in Karnataka now have access to Amazon Pantry.”
