Web 3.0 metaverse creation app Doss games raise Rs 2.3 crores in pre-Seed round

India based web 3.0 metaverse creation platform, Doss Games has raised Rs 2.5 Crores in a pre-seed round of funding led by Titan capital, in participation with Maninder Gulati (Global Chief Strategy Officer, OYO), Varun Alagh (CEO, Mamaearth), and from Abhinav Sinha (Global COO, OYO) including others. 

“The startup will use the funds to strengthen their product, design, and blockchain capabilities,” the statement said.

“The platform will also invest significantly in the community of developers and 3D voxel artists from Design hubs around the world like Japan, Istanbul, Poland, including other countries to develop smart assets to integrate into the metaverse ecosystem,” it said.

Doss Games was founded in August 2021 by Mukul Sharma and Tanmay Joshi, later joined by Vishal Sharma and Aniket Mathur. Doss is a novel mobile metaverse creation app built on the Solana blockchain which helps creators mint their social tokens, build metaverses, conduct real-time virtual events, build & play personalized games and much more with the power of AI-assisted creation. 

Speaking on the fundraise, Mukul Sharma, CEO, Doss Games, said, “We believe that web 3.0 metaverse is a powerhouse of opportunity for the creator economy.      We would like to thank Titan capital and other angel investors including Maninder Gulati who have invested in our vision at such an early stage. The initial money is helping us to achieve the Product market fit fast.”

Commenting on the Investment in Doss Games, Bipin Shah, Partner at Titan Capital, said, “Gaming industry is attaining a lot of traction in the Indian market and it is here to stay for long. If the right kind of support and investment is provided this sector has a huge potential to thrive to be a major revenue generator for the Indian economy.”
