Pokarna Engineered Stone Limited (PESL) said on Tuesday it will invest Rs. 440 crore to expand production capabilities at its Mekaguda facility in Telangana.
The expansion will include a third Bretonstone production line, developed by Italy’s Breton S.p.A., and is expected to be operational by March 2026.
The new line aims to increase PESL’s production capacity to address the growing demand for engineered stone products. PESL stated that the facility, initially designed for scalable operations, will integrate the additional line with minimal disruption to ongoing production.
Speaking on the development, Paras Kumar Jain, CEO of PESL, said, “This new Bretonstone line represents more than just expanded capacity – it’s a leap forward, bringing in world-class technology to elevate our standards of innovation, automation, and sustainability. We are dedicated to producing surfaces that reflect both craftsmanship and conscience, embodying our vision of a brighter, more responsible future”.
“This expansion marks an exciting milestone in our journey to redefine quality and innovation in the engineered stone industry,” he further added.
