Volkswagen Chief Executive Herbert Diess has said, “We are not scared of Apple’s plan for the auto industry.”

In an interview with German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Diess said, “While Apple’s plans were ‘logical’ and have expertise in battery, technology, software and designs it can use its resources to create a vehicle. We are not scared.”
“The car industry is different from the technology industry, and Apple will not be able to manage to take it overnight,” he said.
