ECO Hotels & Resorts Limited, a stock exchange-listed mid-segment hotel chain has today said it has opened a 60-room property in Bengaluru under its ExcoExpress brand.
“The company plans to launch two more properties in Nagpur and Kota by early 2025, offering 44 and 63 rooms, respectively. Additionally, properties in Baroda and Aurangabad are nearing completion, with interior work currently underway,” Eco Hotels said in a statement.
Expanding its portfolio, Eco Hotels is set to acquire a 58-room hotel in Shirdi, with board approval already secured and the acquisition process in progress.
The company is also exploring new-build projects under the Engineer, Build, Operate, Transfer (EBOT) model, leveraging 3D volumetric construction technology from its group company, Modulex. This technology will be utilized in 10 upcoming hotels in Uttar Pradesh, following a memorandum of understanding with the state government last year.
