As the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, is all set to present the Indian Budget for 2023-24, we reached out to Vishal Bhatia, CFO of Balancehero India, to understand what the Fintech & NBFC sector is expecting from the upcoming budget.
Speaking about his expectations, Vishal Bhatia, CFO of Balancehero India, said, “Looking at the year 2022, we have seen innovations and exponential growth in the finance and fintech sector, which has helped financial inclusion.”
“In 2023, the focus should be on the private sector and access to facilities should be given to those who would otherwise be denied them. In other words, it is necessary to ensure that market participants have enough liquidity to support entity customers,” he said.
Further talking about expectations, Bhatia said, “The government should take measures to ensure that partnerships between banks and NBFC companies are encouraged.”
