TechGraph: How does ParkMate collaborate with parking facilities and local authorities to streamline the parking experience and improve accessibility for drivers?

Dhananjaya Bharadwaj: At ParkMate, we understand the importance of collaborating with parking facilities and local authorities to create a seamless and improved parking experience for drivers.

Our approach involves establishing strong partnerships with parking operators, property managers, and city administrations to ensure that our intelligent parking solutions integrate effectively into the existing infrastructure.

We work closely with parking facilities to implement our Trishool system, which combines FASTag, ANPR, and UniPay technologies. This integration allows us to automate license plate scanning, vehicle entry, and payment processing, reducing the need for manual interventions and minimizing congestion.

Through collaborations with local authorities, such as our recent successful launch of UP Govt’s first FASTag-enabled Smart Parking with the help of Lucknow Nagar Nigam and Hazratganj Trader Association, we aim to optimize parking space allocation, implement geofencing, and ensure proper traffic management. By forging these partnerships, we’re able to offer a holistic parking solution that benefits both drivers and the community at large.

Importantly, this not only enhances accessibility for drivers but also contributes to reducing traffic congestion and promoting safer streets. Our commitment to working hand-in-hand with parking facilities and local authorities is a key factor in our mission to eliminate parking anxiety and create a more efficient urban mobility landscape.

TechGraph: What measures does ParkMate take to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for individuals with disabilities or special accessibility needs?

TechGraph: At ParkMate, inclusivity is a core value, and we are committed to providing a seamless and user-friendly experience for individuals with disabilities or special accessibility needs. Our approach encompasses various strategies to ensure their comfort and convenience when using our parking services.

First and foremost, our website and application are meticulously designed to adhere to accessibility guidelines, making them easy to navigate and use. We prioritize clear headings, incorporate alt text for images, and ensure keyboard-friendly functionality to accommodate a range of disabilities.

Additionally, our dedicated customer support team is readily available to assist individuals with any inquiries or concerns they may have, ensuring they can engage with our platform effortlessly. Notably, our valet attendants are trained to provide respectful and considerate assistance to those with disabilities, ensuring a smooth and pleasant parking experience.

Moreover, we actively seek feedback from users with disabilities to continuously enhance our accessibility features. By incorporating their insights and recommendations, we strive to refine our platform and make it even more accommodating.

TechGraph: How does ParkMate contribute to reducing traffic congestion and environmental impact through its services?

Dhananjaya Bharadwaj: ParkMate’s instant Drop and shop service significantly contributes to the reduction of traffic congestion and environmental impact through its streamlined parking process. Users can enjoy real-time parking confirmation by simply entering their destination on the ParkMate website or application. Upon reaching their destination, a dedicated valet is ready to assist them. These valets, who are OTP verified, handle the parking process efficiently, eliminating the need for drivers to circle in search of a parking spot.

The use of GPS tagging allows users to track the movement of their cars, ensuring seamless retrieval when required. This efficient approach minimizes idling and unnecessary traffic buildup, leading to smoother traffic flow. Moreover, by reducing the time spent searching for parking, ParkMate’s services also contribute to lower fuel consumption and emissions, making a positive impact on the environment.

To validate our effectiveness, consider the scenario in places like Hazratganj, Lucknow, and Chandni Chowk, Delhi. Car owners in these bustling areas used to dedicate a substantial 20 to 40 minutes navigating the intricate parking process before even reaching the main markets.

However, since ParkMate stepped into this market, we’ve proudly managed to drastically slash this duration to less than a minute. Impressively, in just one month since the launch of our services, we accomplished the feat of parking over 3000 cars in Hazratganj alone. These figures serve as a testament to the transformative impact our approach has had on simplifying and optimizing the parking experience for both car owners and the overall traffic flow.

TechGraph: How does ParkMate address concerns regarding the potential increase in parking rates or fees associated with app-based parking services compared to traditional methods?

Dhananjaya Bharadwaj: As a user-focused platform, ParkMate is committed to addressing concerns about potential increases in parking rates associated with app-based services compared to traditional methods. We aim to provide a seamless and affordable parking experience while alleviating parking-related worries. We understand the importance of transparent and cost-effective solutions. To ensure this, we have implemented strategies that prioritize our users’ interests.

Additionally, we may charge for parking tickets as an ancillary service, but rest assured, we strive to maintain competitive pricing that is on par with or even lower than traditional parking rates. Our dedication to affordability is unwavering, and we are continuously working to enhance our operational efficiency through technology to deliver accessible parking solutions. By providing real-time parking availability information, we empower our users to make informed decisions based on current rates and availability. Our commitment to fair and reasonable pricing, along with our innovative services, underscores our mission to ensure a valuable and budget-friendly parking experience for all.
