Kerala Government says, “No one will starve during the lockdown, will deliver cooked meals”

As the country is going through the 21 Days lockdown due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Kerala Government on Wednesday said that “No one in the state will starve during the lockdown, as it will deliver cooked meals to the people at their doorstep.”

The Chief Minister of Kerala, Pinarayi Vijayan on Twitter said, “No one will starve during this lockdown #COVID19… The Kerala Government has taken extensive measures to ensure that no one will starve during the lockdown.”

“The service will be offered by local self-governing bodies, ward-level committees, and volunteers,” he added.
