India’s Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri met FBI Chief Kash Patel in Washington on Thursday to discuss cooperation in countering terrorism, organised crime, and narcotics, the Indian Embassy in the United States said in a social media platform X (fromerly twitter).
The meeting took place during Misri’s three-day visit to the United States, where he also met senior officials, including Marco Rubio.

The visit comes after a ceasefire involving the United States and Iran, bringing a pause to the conflict that began on February 28 over Tehran’s nuclear programme.
