Twitter has announced the ban on President Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, and Trump supporter Sidney Powell.
The ban on Michael Flynn and Sidney Powell is a part of Twitter’s broader effort to contain the QAnon conspiracy movement.
Quoting to Twitter’s email statement, the Economic Times reported, “Given the renewed potential for violence surrounding this type of behavior in the coming days. We will permanently suspend accounts that are solely dedicated to sharing of QAnon content.”
Earlier, Twitter announced the permanent ban on President Donald Trump for violating its glorification policy.
“When it determines a group or campaign is engaged in ‘coordinated harmful activity’, it may suspend accounts that it finds primarily encourages that QAnon,” the statement said.
