A German-based multinational technology company, Robert Bosch on Thursday said, “It has developed a new diagnostic tool which can detect the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 in two and half hours.”
In a statement issued, Robert Bosch said, “The company has developed a rapid molecular diagnostic test, which runs on its Vivalytic analysis device and can detect a SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection in under two and a half hours, measured from the time the sample is taken to the time the result arrives.”
“This tool can also perform directly at the point of the cares,” it added.
Speaking on the test kit, DR. Volkmar Denner, Chairman of the board of management, Robot Bosch said, “We want the Bosch rapid COVID-19 test to play a part in containing the coronavirus pandemic as quickly as possible.”
