During the UBS annual general meeting held on Wednesday, UBS Group AG Chairman Colm Kelleher announced that Credit Suisse would no longer remain an independent company.

“Credit Suisse was an icon of the Swiss economy, playing a crucial role in Switzerland’s economic growth and earning global respect as a prominent player in the banking industry,” Kelleher added.
