Sharp India Ltd. said its board has approved the reappointment of Abhijeet Bhagwat as an independent director for a second term of five years, starting October 2, 2025, and ending October 1, 2030.
According to a filing with the stock exchanges, Bhagwat is a fellow chartered accountant and managing partner at P G Bhagwat LLP, with over 15 years of experience in corporate assurance, auditing, and financial reporting. His reappointment is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s 40th annual general meeting.
The board also approved the appointment of M/s SVD & Associates, Company Secretaries, Pune, as secretarial auditor for a five-year term beginning at the conclusion of the upcoming AGM and ending at the conclusion of the 45th AGM in 2030. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval.
