Coral India Finance and Housing Limited said its board of directors has approved the appointment of Neha Mehta as an additional independent director effective September 3, 2025, following the completion of Sheela Kamdar’s second term on September 13, 2025.
According to a filing with the exchange, Neha Mehta has been appointed for a five-year term subject to shareholder approval at the ensuing annual general meeting. The company said Mehta is a chartered accountant with over 15 years of professional experience in audit, taxation, corporate advisory, financial structuring, and governance.
The board noted the completion of Kamdar’s tenure as independent director in accordance with provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, and SEBI Listing Regulations. The company placed on record its appreciation for Kamdar’s valuable contribution during her tenure.
The board also approved convening the 31st Annual General Meeting on Monday, September 29, 2025, through video conferencing. The company has fixed Friday, September 12, 2025, as the record date for determining entitlement to the final dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.
The board recommended a final dividend of 20% on equity shares of face value ₹2 each, amounting to ₹0.40 per share for FY 2024-25. The dividend, if approved by shareholders, will be paid on or before Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
