Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai sold 32,500 shares of the company’s Class C capital stock on July 16 for proceeds of approximately $5.7 million, according to a Form 4 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The shares were sold in three separate transactions at weighted average prices of $183.80, $184.63, and $185.17. The filing notes the shares were sold in multiple trades within ranges between $183.12 and $186.12.
Following the sale, Pichai owns 2,527,392 shares of Alphabet Class C stock, along with 149,622 Class C Google Stock Units and 227,560 Class A common shares.
The transaction was conducted under a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted on December 2, 2024. The plan allows executives to pre-schedule sales of stock in compliance with insider trading regulations.
The filing was signed on July 17 by an attorney-in-fact on Pichai’s behalf. No derivative transactions were reported.
