India-based, Go Digit Life Insurance said its revenue for the first half of FY 2025-26 rose 31 per cent year-on-year to ₹858 crore, compared to ₹653.5 crore in the same period last year, while the company settled claims worth ₹2.09 billion during the half year.
Sharing numbers in the third edition of its Transparency Report, the insurer noted a significant improvement in claims turnaround time as the average end-to-end settlement time for death claims reduced to 5.3 days from 11 days a year earlier, and the Group Insurance Claim Settlement Ratio stood at 98.97 per cent with all claims cleared within one month.

Digit Life added that 90 per cent of retail underwriting decisions were completed within 17 hours on average and 90 percent of retail policy issuances, including KYC were completed within 18 hours, with the company highlighting examples such as a ₹4 crore Group Term Life claim settled in three days and a ₹48.8 lakh claim under its Group Long Term Plan settled in one day.
The solvency ratio during the period stood at 2.43, while new business premium grew 27 per cent, and the company serviced 2.9 million customers, extending its physical presence to 36 branches supported by 6,270 agents and intermediaries across the country.
Commenting on the performance, Sabyasachi Sarkar, MD and CEO of Digit Life Insurance, said the growth and the reduction in claim settlement timelines reflect operational efficiency and consistent process execution.
The insurer also pointed to the rollout of AI-enabled document authenticity checks built in-house to minimise fraud and accelerate genuine customer processing as part of its effort to strengthen digital-first workflows across products and services.
